On phillipreeve.net, we upload sample images taken with the lenses we review. To ensure fast website loading and efficient server usage, we initially present them at a maximum long edge of 800 pixels.
However, we understand some readers prefer larger images for two reasons:
- Detailed Inspection: Smaller images may not fully showcase the lens’s capabilities, particularly when evaluating image quality.
- Enhanced Viewing: Some readers simply prefer a larger format for better image appreciation.
Solution: We upload images in larger format on external sites and include links to the them within the articles.
I’ve uploaded larger versions of sample images directly here on this website. For easy browsing, they’re organized into separate albums on the homepage (also known as “Sample Image Albums”), with each album dedicated to a specific lens.
I have also added a page detailing the gear I frequently use for those interested.
